What are the lessons people most often learn too late in life?

What are the lessons people most often learn too late in life?

1. Grades do matter. A high GPA can get you into a great university, which means strong connections and a high-paying job.

2. In the long run, starting your own business beats working for Big Brother.

3. Remember, most people just copy others. Their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives mimicry, their passions borrowed.

4. Hard work is a talent, too.

5. Debt is bad; compound interest is your friend.

6. There are no coincidences.

7. The more skills you gain, the more valuable you become. Investing in yourself is the best investment.

8. You can't win a serious argument with a friend without risking the friendship. Sometimes, it's better to let go even if you're right.

9. "No man is your enemy, no man is your friend, every man is your teacher."

10. "What if" and "if only" thoughts are pointless.

11. Before judging someone, walk a mile in their shoes.

12. The more negativity you spread, the crappier your life will be.
